Financial and Budget Transparency

FINANCIAL TRANSPARENCY

The City of Oak Ridge North is committed to providing clear and meaningful financial information not only by posting financial documents, but also through summaries, visualizations, downloadable data, and explanations of the city processes.  The city is participating in the State of Texas Transparency Star program, which recognizes governments for going above and beyond in their transparency efforts.  We participate to ensure full transparency is available to the public.

 

Finance Summary

For the most recently completed fiscal year from October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2025. The city had 45 full-time equivalent positions in the most recently completed fiscal year.

Sales Tax

Sales tax is the highest contribution to the city’s revenue.  This is due to a large commercial presence and a smaller population.

Property Tax

Property tax is the second-highest contribution to the city’s revenue.  The city’s property tax rate was $0.4238 per $100 valuation for 2025.  The tax rate decreased from 2024.
