The Permit Department is responsible for permits and inspections in Oak Ridge North. All building and sign permits are issued by the Department. Building and fire inspections are also scheduled by the Permit Department.  

A permit is required if you plan to construct a building, demolish a building, or in any way change the construction of an existing building or fence. Permits are also required for these changes to or the creation of electrical, gas, mechanical, or plumbing systems, roofing, or any other structural member, such as a window.
